This beautiful editorial for Fashion CA 08 was photographed by Gabor Jurina. The model is Marie-Eve Nadeau and the stylist is Susie Sheffman. This was taken at the Bahamian Island of Eleuthera.
Pretty...I like the vintage look of some of the clothes.
I've been enjoying looking through your archives, and I thought you might like to hear something funny...my two cats LOVE your soundtrack. (Maybe they remember the little bird with the Egyptian Flute)! They like to settle in near the computer and listen to your music while I'm looking at your gorgeous photos...so thank you for sharing your selections!
Ooooh, so Esther Williams daaaaaaaahling. I am in love with suit #2. In fact, i had a picture of that suit cut out (i think last year) from a magazine cause i really wanted it. Anyways not feeling good about my bum at the moment so i dont think i would wear it right now. But i want it :D *kisses* HH
Lovely shots! I just love the Bahamas. Wish I was there now, lolling on a deserted beach!
I remember a time when bathing caps were mandatory at swimming pools. It made no sense to me because only girls had to wear them and this was a time (late 60's-early 70's) when boys had long hair. It seemed so unfair. I hated them. Luckily, it wasn't long before they were done away with and I could swim with my hair free!
I feel as if I'm in the sea looking at the first one and I love the one where she is walking into the sea....so glamourous. I watched the film/documentary about Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of American Vogue, last night.....it was so interesting watching her decide which photographs would finally make it to the magazine. XXXX
This is one of my favorites you've ever done. Maybe because I love boats. The photos of the sun clipping her head is stunning. And I love the white dress twirling on the beach. How refreshing to see a 'real' small bust in this age of enhanced bustlines.
Gasp! I love every stitch of clothing, every accessory, every shoe...but most of all, I love the bathing cap in the first photo. These are so elegant and amazing and very, very vintage inspired. Thank you for posting it.
This makes me wish everyday could be spent on a beach in beautiful clothes likes this! And the first photo makes me want to buy a bathing cap!! Too Cute!! Happy Monday!
That first image is my favourite! I love everything about the composition, especially the swimming cap that reminds me of one my grandmother had... I really love the simplicity of it xx
Lovely!.., Like a fashion, 'breath of fresh air'!..,All that heavenly blue sky and water, along with the lovely models and vintage-esque seaside/nautical fashion..,Simply Divine!

I could have done with any of these for our visit to the beach on the weekend. Love the swim cap, tho I always looked a complete dork in one, so always avoided them.
