This home is totally amazing. Hugh in scale and matched by bold, larger than life decor. The owner, Trudy Derkesen (Gertrud D) was an actor, then costume and set designer, and now a successful artist.
Her home is located on a canal in the historic center of Amsterdam, it was once an old mercantile warehouse ... as Trudy said "it was a vast industrial space, invaded by light, with high ceilings on a steel frame. It motivates me to experiment through material, light and space."
